Reduce the cost of treating liquid bio-wastes
Effluent streams and disposal requirements vary considerably. Our experienced team designs custom-built, on-site treatment systems to deal with your specific requirements and site priorities.
Clearfleau tailors its plants to meet your on-site circumstances and will reduce overall treatment costs and maximise revenue. Key features of our plant designs include:
- System Efficiency: retaining volatile solids in a smaller reactor volume, Clearfleau's anaerobic plants require less mixing energy and enhance digestion rates, at lower cost.
- Process Flexibility: Clearfleau's systems accept high organic loads, accommodate load variations, and minimise residual solids (reducing off-site disposal costs).
- Water Recycling: Clearfleau combines anaerobic with aerobic treatment and polishing, so residual effluent can be cleansed for re-use or watercourse discharge.
- Piloting Option: using small scale plants Clearfleau allows clients to assess, on their own site, the effectiveness and viability of the core technology.
Clearfleau has two distinct anaerobic treatment plants, designed for liquid bio-wastes, the high rate Anaerobic Reactor and the operationally robust Thickening Digester. The advantages of our plants over more conventional anaerobic digestion options include:
- Flexible installation: can be designed from scratch or retrofitted on site
- Small footprint: will fit into a confined space to allow treatment on site
- Energy demand: facilitate cost-effective treatment at minimal energy input
- Biogas output: extended solids retention time boosts biogas production
- Carbon footprint: reduced emissions compared with conventional treatment
Clearfleau plant designs can include the following associated technologies:
- Solids Removal for suspended solids as well as oils, fats and grease
- Membrane Bio Reactor for residual effluent treatment and polishing
- De-watering for residual bio-solids to reduce off-site haulage costs
- Heat and Power generation of electricity (and surplus heat) from biogas
