Anaerobic and other effluent treatments for liquid bio-waste
Clearfleau is active in a range of industrial sectors where there are opportunities to extract energy from liquid effluent or add value to nutrient rich bio-wastes. Active sectors include:
- Brewing and Drinks, including malting, cider and soft drinks
- Dairy Processing, for large and small scale processing plants
- Food manufacturing, including sugars, fats and wash waters
Clearfleau designs and builds integrated treatment plants that minimise the cost of liquid waste disposal, based on core technologies in anaerobic treatment and effluent cleansing.
Anaerobic Digestion is a well-established process for bio-waste treatment, where suspended (volatile) solids are converted into biogas. In Clearfleau's anaerobic treatment processes, liquid retention times are kept to a minimum to reduce capital and operating costs whilst optimising biogas output.
Clearfleau also has expertise in the treatment of waste waters, with a range of approaches for solids separation, nutrient removal and effluent polishing. We can achieve lower discharge costs and meet plant specific water re-use or recycling requirements.
Clearfleau works with leading engineering and contracting companies specialising in energy from waste and wastewater treatment systems. Our skilled process engineers will design and specify a plant to meet your site requirements. We also provide process control, mechanical and electrical instrumentation and civil engineering for our treatment projects.
